KIAN Foundation introduces respected photographer Sanjay Das to Mumbai for Shape of Silences, a solo exhibition curated by the distinguished writer Ina Puri. The exhibition will take place at the iconic Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai, inviting audiences into a visual archive of Bengal’s vanishing terracotta heritage. Bringing the Delhi-based adventurer and artist to Mumbai, KIAN Foundation visualises this show as a way to connect unexplored vanishing heritage to a wider contemporary audience. Bengal’s temples and their intricate terracotta reliefs, are living archives of stories-mythological, historical, and everyday life etched in clay.
