Shakti: The Art of Resilience Concludes with an Inspiring Inaugural Evening at Bikaner House

Kian Foundation is proud to announce the successful conclusion of Shakti: The Art of Resilience, a profound artistic initiative held from 24–29 October 2025 at the Living Tradition Centre, Bikaner House. The exhibition opened with an inspiring and memorable inaugural ceremony graced by distinguished guests of honour:

Their presence added immense grace and gravitas to an evening dedicated to honouring resilience, creativity, and the spirit of women from India’s defence community.

The inauguration marked the beginning of a heartfelt celebration of art and purpose, thoughtfully conceptualised and executed by Aarti Naik and Siddharth Naik, founders of KIAN Foundation, in collaboration with the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA). The event brought together artists, patrons, members of the armed forces, and supporters of the arts for an evening that seamlessly blended emotion, storytelling, and artistic expression.

Over the course of six days, Shakti: The Art of Resilience welcomed an exceptional number of visitors, showcasing artworks across diverse mediums that collectively highlighted strength, courage, and hope. The initiative also generated meaningful support for war widows, families of disabled ex-servicemen, and women seeking opportunities for education and livelihood.

Kian Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to the honourable guests, participating artists, AWWA partners, and all attendees whose presence and encouragement contributed to the success of this edition. The overwhelming response reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to creating platforms where art becomes a catalyst for empathy, empowerment, and societal impact.
